Good to know
- Okazaki Castle stands in Okazaki Park, the place where Tokugawa Ieyasu was born in 1543.
- Visit the Hatcho miso breweries in Hatcho, west of the castle. You can see the huge wooden barrels and taste the miso.
- Okazaki holds a big fireworks festival by the river in summer. Trains and streets get very busy that night.
