Best time to visit Osaka
Late March to early April for cherry blossoms at Osaka Castle (average flowering 27 March). Late November to early December for autumn colour in Osaka and nearby Kyoto and Nara. The Tenjin Matsuri on 24–25 July is the city's biggest festival, with boats and fireworks on the river.
