- The Yui Rail monorail runs from the airport to Kokusai-dori and up to Shuri in under 30 minutes.
- Shuri Castle's main hall burned in 2019. Check the current reconstruction status before you go.
- At Makishi Public Market you can buy fish downstairs and have it cooked upstairs.
