- Grand sumo tournaments in Tokyo are held at Ryogoku Kokugikan in January, May and September.
- Skytree's Solamachi mall below the tower has a big food floor and souvenir shops.
- Asakusa is just across the river. You can walk from Skytree in about 20 minutes.
