- Mount Fuji is clearest on winter mornings. Go early, before clouds build up around the summit.
- Tagonoura Port is known for shirasu (whitebait). Try it fresh on rice at the port.
- Fuji is a big paper-making city, so the views often mix Fuji's cone with factory chimneys, a favourite of photographers.
