Susukino is the part of Sapporo's Chuo Ward known for entertainment and nightlife, with restaurants, bars and hotels around the big neon crossing. It also has adult venues, mostly in the side streets. For visitors it is above all a food district.

In the Ramen Yokocho alleys, small shops serve Sapporo-style miso ramen side by side. Walk north for the Tanukikoji arcade, east for Nijo Market, or south for Nakajima Park. In early February the Snow Festival's ice sculptures line the street here. More of the ward is in our Chuo, Sapporo guide.
